Angel Jackson Disco Clutch

This clutch could have been the ugliest thing on the face of the earth, but the name would suffice to soften my heart and my wallet. Disco clutch…Love the name. Well, why lie, ladies, I love anything “disco” – music, clothes, accessories, HANDBAGS!!! The fact that the Angel Jackson Disco Clutch is chic, sophisticated and fierce only makes it that much more of a no-brainer purchase.

This 8 x 8 x 2 design works as a slinky shoulder bag or as a clutch. The framed top gives the ‘Disco Clutch’ additional style and, for a clutch, it’s quite functional. The suede-lined interior features two pockets as well as an attached mirror for quick make-up checks. The blue snakeskin exterior is hot, hot, hot, and the subtle bow-like detailing on the front provides a nice decorative touch. If you’re looking for a fabulous evening bag, the Disco Clutch, priced at a reasonable $225, is a great choice.

Runway Style: Chanel Ready To Wear

First we saw Eva Longoria in a pink Chanel mini-dress during her nuptuals in Paris last month, and now we have Kirsten Dunst in a black and white creation from the Spring ’07 RTW collection that’s a smart, youthful update of classic Chanel. Kirsten is the perfect example of “runway style” translated to everyday streetwear (even though Chanel RTW can barely qualify as streetwear!). Find a Chanel boutique near you here.

The dog days of summer are upon us. What trend will help women beat off the heat? Sack dresses (or tent, balloon, etc)- whatever you’d like to call them. Clothes are getting looser and lengths are getting shorter. Thank heavens women can wear dresses that feel cool, comfortable and hide a few imperfections to boot.

As if shooting myself in the foot by even entertaining the thought of it, “Hippie Chic” is making a comeback!
